The Sales Engineer is responsible for the acquisition of new accounts, through pro-active search for new accounts through in-depth research and shortlisting managing, as well as maintaining and growing existing accounts, whether they be inquiries by email or phone calls. The Sales Engineer follows and achieves department’s sales KPI on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
Education:Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (related course is a plus).
Work Experience/s:At least one (1) to two (2) years’ experience in the same related field is an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Special Qualities and Skill Requirements
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
Basic math skills.
Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Track record of meeting and over-achieving sales quota
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
Strong listening skills: active listening; appreciate context of business travelers experience
Good prospecting, presentation and negotiation skills.
Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
Good in time management.
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM will be a plus (but not a requirement).
Can anticipate customer needs – displays several skills as applicable e.g., empathy, proactive recommendations, urgency etc.; can establish and maintain customer relationships.
